Get Out of the “Funk”!


If It Doesn’t Challenge You, It Doesn’t Change You

Fall and winter are hard seasons for a lot of people. During these seasons of the year, people limit their outside time from consuming sunlight and being physically active. Some tend to go to work and come home to nice and comfy couches with chili in the crockpot while watching their favorite TV show or sports game. It sounds like a peaceful place and just thinking about it makes me want to indulge. The outdoors is getting dark earlier each day, and we seem to have a lot more time to be at home and are not being productive. When we aren’t productive, we tend to go into habits that are not good for our overall health. Let us not even bring up the fact that the holidays are around the corner. However, unwanted habits we create are things like overthinking. Overthinking causes issues that could cause a slight depression and what I call a “funk”. A funk can happen to us all and if we aren’t careful enough, we can find ourselves in positions that are hard to come out of. Therefore, for November I have several challenges I would like to challenge you to. If I can be of assistance to you, please feel free to contact me at any time. I am not perfect by no means and I have struggled with these at least a time or two in my life. Over the next 30 days I want to challenge you in these areas:


Read at least 10 pages of a self-help book or personal growth material

Drink one gallon of water a day

Workout at least twice a day for 45 minutes

Consume no alcohol &

Have at least 1 cheat meal a week


Now is your time to get out of the funk and to get moving!
